Objectified Speech Therapy®

Objectified Speech Therapy® (OST Method) is a highly specialized and organized clinical approach to speech and language therapy services.   It provides a structured framework based on three primary tenants:

  1. Use of client-specific data to inform clinical decision making on a session – by – session basis.
  2. Focus on a child's experience to capture interests and motivations, building self-confidence, all to achieve a child’s full communicative potential.
  3. Transparency and accountability that support highly successful and maximized outcomes.

The overarching goal of the Objectified Speech Therapy® (OST Method) method is to help children attain measurable success by realizing their speech-language pathology specific goals as quickly as possible.

Data. Data. Data.

Using real-time data analytics, Objectified Speech Therapy tools continually provide a clinician the feedback and insights to make regular adjustments to maximize the rate of success of each patient.    The data is analyzed automatically to assist in flagging concerns or areas that can improve.

As part of the OST Method, data is shared with the stake holders (e.g., parents and guardians), specifically detailing and graphing all targeted objectives, for each treatment appointment.   Ultimately, data sharing is a cornerstone to creating true transparency and accountability in a way that is currently unparalleled in the field of speech-language pathology.
